Who is your favorite character?
Ellie: Tony, hands down. why? because he's an evil bitch who's honestly pretty funny (plus he has a completely mysterious backstory, the only detail being he committed suicide only to reincarnate as a monster suffering famine that can only be remedied with human hearts, yet he has a curse that makes him unable to kill humans). he’s like a metaphor for someone who starves for public affection
Phoenix: Freddie! he’s the literal heart of the story (LITERALLY), he’s just a guy struggling to raise his psycho daughter and is still traumatized from his abusive wife’s sudden death, and he struggles with trusting Ashton to help him even though he has literally no one else to talk to. he is full of issues
Vickie: probably Rhia tbh I just kin her
Leaf: you're all wrong, Ashton is right there he’s the fucking GOAT! his green flags include being an aquarius, a romantic, having heterochromia, he’s a good fighter, an anti-hero, loves animals, haunted by ghosts, car owner, long hair, religious trauma (not to Freddie’s extent but it’s still there), and he cares about Rhia. he is the only person in the whole webcomic that actually understands Rhia on a psychological level. he knows what it's like to make people's murders look like suicide, he knows what it's like to love someone who self-destructs due to grief (*cough* freddie *cough* who said that?)

Naqua: hmm… Roxie. she’s such a bubblegum theatre kid, she’s adorable, goofy, and makes cringe references every chance she gets. I love her even if she'd be pretty annoying in real life, but she’s truly a ray of sunshine

Vickie: I’ve always loved Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around, and funnily enough, one of the rough draft titles of Reason to Kill was Look Me In the Eye, which was a reference to the song and supposed to be the “thing theyd say in the plot to spot possessed people because their pupils would look weird”. its a long story-

Vickie: BASICALLY, the entire moral of the story is “murder determines your beliefs”, and what it means to sacrifice a human life for the supposed “greater good”. people kill, people die, but the ones that live are the ones with choices
